Critique day. Trey spoke at the beginning of class saying that he was going to try and not talk so much or have me talk too much. He knows that we both can talk about their art all day but the goal is to get them talking about it. To get them comfortable to talk about strong and weak points of the art. So for the most part we let them guide the critique.

This girl made a heart. It is suppose to be a cage for the 2 sides of love. The smooth and good times vs rough and hard times
In this photo there are a few sculptures. The caged tea pot and cup. The idea of how social the idea of tea is and you’re caging it. Not allowing that conversation interaction to occur. He also used a glaze that is comprised primarily of iron oxide.

Also in this photo is a spherical object. That was made to be a cage for emotion. She was attempting to make a cage to trap all the emotions swirling around every which way in your head.
